That message indicates a USB device on the machine which isn't being
properly recognized.  It could be a device type for which OSR507 has no
driver, or one which has a driver but still isn't being recognized
properly (e.g. due to a timing problem).  The message refers to a USB
peripheral, not to the USB subsystem as a whole.  Since you say you
aren't currently using USB, it must be a peripheral that you don't
intend to use under Unix.  So just ignore the message.  It should only
happen once at boot time (or if you unplug and replug the peripheral).
